请教 HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SideBySide 注册表项的作用？

如题，帮处理一个 Windows 补丁无法检测出的问题，好像它是和 Windows Update 有关的一个注册表项，正常里面应该有个 winners 子项。请教下这个 sidebyside 项是干啥的？ Google 了半天也没找到具体的说明╮(╯▽╰)╭ 昨天去微软论坛问了也没人回复。。。
